The B.A. in Criminal Justice is a social science that major examines the causes and impacts of crime in society. Graduates go on to careers in fields such as law enforcement, homeland security, probation and parole, and victim services.
University Studies Program
This degree requires that The University Studies Program 2015 requirements are met before graduation. Some of the courses required for this major fulfill USP requirements, but not all. Students should check their degree evaluations and consult with their assigned academic advisor to discuss their specific course plan.
Students much complete one three credit hour course from the list below; or 1 additional course from Criminal Justice Core. Must be completed with a grade of C or better.
Students are required to complete two semesters of the same foreign language with a grade of C or better. Two semesters of American Sign Language (SPPA 2110 & SPPA 2120) will fulfill this requirement.
