GEOL 4113 - Geological Remote Sensing Credits: 4 Acquaints students with aircraft and spacecraft remote sensing of the environment, emphasizing geologic application to earth and other planetary bodies. Includes visible, infrared, ultraviolet, radio and radar sensing. Laboratory exercises are applications related to tectonics, geomorphology, paleoclimate, structure, stratigraphy, environmental geology and geologic hazards.
Cross Listed GEOG 4113 . Dual Listed GEOL 5113 . Prerequisite: GEOL 1005 or GEOL 1100 or 1200 or GEOG 1010 and MATH 1400 /MATH 1405 or MATH 1450 .
