Studio work is based on an individually directed theme of exploration that will include historical and technical research. Continued study and development of traditional and experimental forms. Applies wide range of three-dimensional decorative and conceptual approaches. Kiln firing and glaze research will be expanded upon from the low division courses.

Prerequisite: ART 2000 (Art Majors Only), ART 2425 , Two semesters of 3000 level ceramics (ART 3410 , ART 3420 , or ART 3415 , Instructor consent. Repeatable up to 6 credits. Art 2000 is waived for ceramic minors and all other majors.
