ART 3415 - Slip Casting & Mold Making

Art 3415 introduces mold-making and slip-casting techniques that expands upon the student’s foundation of ceramic knowledge. Emphasizes industrial/creative design and conceptual development with continued study of traditional and experimental forms. Includes historical and contemporary research, range of surface techniques, and firing methods. Third course in sequence offered on rotation.

Prerequisite: ART 2000 (Art Majors Only), ART 2425 or consent of instructor. Art 2000 is waived for ceramic minors and all other majors.
