MATH 3340 - Introduction to Scientific Computing Credits: 3 Introduces basic numerical methods to solve scientific and engineering problems. Topics include: code structure and algorithms, basic numerical methods for linear systems, eigenvalue problems, interpolation and data fitting, nonlinear systems, numerical differentiation and integration.
Cross Listed COSC 3340 . Prerequisite: grade of C or better in MATH 2210 .
