FCSC 2050 - Safety, Nutrition & Health in Early Childhood Programs Credits: 2 Max Credit 2
This course is designed to enrich students’ understanding of practices which support children’s healthy development. Issues to be explored include record keeping related to child care health and safety, agencies and regulations, the use of child care health consultants, accident and injury prevention, communicable disease prevention, immunizations, nutrition and food safety in child care settings, and resources for teachers. The course satisfies early childhood requirements for certification and licensing.
