ENGL 3000 - Literary Theory Credits: 3 An introduction to critical theory as a methodology within literary studies. The course covers major schools of theory and major figures within those schools. Students will read, discuss, and write about literary texts and cultural artefacts by placing them in dialogue with important works of both theory and literary criticism.
Prerequisite: ENGL 2025 and junior standing.
