Requirements
The Online Instruction Certificate Program is a post-baccalaurete, credit bearing program that helps learners from all fields acquire necessary knowledge and skills to effectively develop and teach online courses in K-12, higher education, and business and industry settings. Courses familiarize learners with distance education and design theory to develop online materials that facilitate student access, engagement, communication, and information exchange. Emphasis is placed on tool use and the application of skills towards instructional development and implementation. Students who have been formally admitted to the Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Instructional Technology may use certification courses to fulfill graduate degree requirements.
Coursework Credits: 12 Hours
The certificate program consists of 12 hours of coursework in four online courses:
