A minor in apparel design is sponsored jointly by the departments of Family and Consumer Sciences and Art. It is designed to enable students with career interests in this field to gain experience in the competency areas expected of apparel designers. This minor blends functional, artistic, and fashion considerations in the design of body coverings. Students interested in this minor should consult the sponsoring departments to receive an advisor for the minor. Students must take all courses required for this minor for letter grade and receive a grade of C or above in each course.
