PATB 4140 - Principles of Toxicology Credits: 3 Toxicology is the study of poisons, their mechanisms of action and their effects on various organisms including man and domestic animals. Designed to provide students in the life and environmental sciences with an understanding of the principles of toxicology as they apply to animal and human health, food safety and environmental studies.
Dual Listed PATB 5140 When Offered (Normally offered fall semester of even-numbered years) Prerequisite: 9 hours of biological science (e.g., physiology), 4 hours chemistry, 3 hours biochemistry.
