ZOO 4280 - Introduction to Neuroscience Credits: 3 Examines the basic electrical properties of neurons and from there identifies determinants of brain development, how neuronal “circuits” are formed and how these neuronal systems enable the processing of sensory information, coordinated movement, adaptation to the environment, and other complex functions (e. g. , sleep, sex).
