NURS 4895 - Professional Nursing Capstone Practicum Credits: 9-12 Students utilize and synthesize basic concepts of professional nursing practice. The course socializes students into a healthcare system. Learning experiences allow students to gain confidence in managing patient care, practicing critical thinking, developing leadership and advocacy skills, and exploring ethical decision-making in clinical situations.
Note: Course changes effective Spring 2024 - Description: Students synthesize concepts of professional nursing practice. The course socializes students into a healthcare system. Learning experiences allow students to manage patient care, apply critical judgment, develop leadership and explore ethical decision-making in healthcare settings. Prerequisite: NURS 4695 and completion or concurrent enrollment in NURS 4865 .
