NURS 4690 - Professional Nursing Care of Populations Credits: 4 Introduces the student to population-focused nursing and applies the nursing process to the community as client. Addresses core functions and essential services of public health. Focuses on vulnerable populations; epidemiology; community assessment, planning, and implementation; analysis of the healthcare system; emergency preparedness; and ethical/ legal aspects of public health.
