GEOL 4270 - Hydrogeophysics Credits: 3 Estimating groundwater parameters, contaminant transport, porosity and other hydrologic properties using geophysics. Integrates literature review, discussion, exercises and writing to introduce students to hydrogeophysics research. Students will acquire skills at reading technical publications, writing, and grain knowledge about current trends in the field. Emphasis on critical thinking and analysis of writing.
Prerequisite: 20 hours of geology or engineering courses.
