This introductory course will help you understand better on how people use both free markets and government regulations to create value, enhance society, and protect nature. You will explore how economic ideas and tools address big global issues like poverty and prosperity, inequality of wealth, capital and labor, sustainable development, free trade vs fair trade, climate change, war and peace, migration, brain drains, and science and nature.
