ME 3060 - Numerical Methods for Engineers Credits: 3 Numerical solutions of problems commonly encountered in mechanical engineering including differentiation, integration, differential equations, system of linear and nonlinear equations, and optimization. The structured programming approach will be emphasized and applications from solid mechanics, thermal fluid sciences, materials science, and dynamic systems will be covered.
Prerequisite: Completion of the ME Success Curriculum, ES 1060 , and MATH 2310 or concurrent enrollment. Cross Listed ESE 3060
