Animal and Veterinary Science, B.S. (Pre-Veterinary Medicine Concentration)

This concentration is designed to prepare students for application to Colleges of Veterinary Medicine, graduate school, or other pre-professional opportunities. Emphasis is placed on biology/pathobiology, chemistry/physical, and biomedical sciences.

University Studies Program
This degree requires that The University Studies Program 2015 requirements are met before graduation. Some of the courses required for this major fulfill USP requirements, but not all. Students should check their degree evaluations and consult with their assigned academic advisor to discuss their specific course plan.
Animal and Veterinary Science Core - Pre-vet
All students completing a degree in Animal & Veterinary Sciences will take the following courses as a core. These courses are designed to introduce shared animal science and pre-veterinary medicine disciplines and establish a strong baseline knowledge for students interested in animal fields.
