Economics Minor

Economics is the science of decision making. It is a social science that primarily focuses on the study of how individuals, businesses, and governments make decisions to allocate scarce resources to best meet their needs and wants. It explores how these decisions impact the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services, as well as the overall well-being of society. This minor is a great complement to any degree. Economics students gain valuable tools and skills to understanding the insight in decision making, using resources effectively, value created through trade, policy analytics, data analytics, understanding market behavior, resource allocation, global perspective and critical thinking, just to name a few.
