SOC 3910 - Global Sociology Credits: 3 Global Sociology explores how humans shape and are shaped by globalization processes. Globalization creates inherent risks, such as increased inequality and violence, but also opportunities for greater democracy and a stronger global civil society. This course examines social, cultural, institutional, and economic factors and their effects on societies around the world.
