PSYC 4500 - Introduction to Clinical Psychology Credits: 3 Provides students with general introduction to clinical psychology as a subarea of psychology. Deals with the search for, and applications of, psychological principles and methods aimed at assessing and explaining unique or special problems of the individual, group or family, assisting client(s) to function more meaningfully and effectively, and helping to prevent future problems.
Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in PSYC 2340 .
