PLNT 3036 - Grape Production Credits: 3 Introduces students to the science of viticulture. Topics include grapevine origin and distribution, taxonomy, morphology and physiology, soil and climatic requirements, vineyard establishment, grapevine nutrition, cultural practices, harvesting and post-harvest management. Successful completion will enhance students’ knowledge and understanding on grape production and management.
