INST 4475 - Politics of Natural Resources in Latin America Credits: 3 This course examines the major trends in resource extraction, mangement, and conservation in Latin America, and the politics surrounding those trends, from theoretical, social, political, economic, and ecological perspectives and through a variety of grounded case studies. The theories and concepts we study are applicable to resource politics beyond Latin America.
