HIST 5415 - Entangled Worlds, Entangled Lives: Indigenous People and Colonizers Before 1850 Credits: 3 The experiences of indigenous people and colonizers in Africa, Eurasia, the Americas, and the Pacific as they forged new colonial societies in the first global age (1400-1850). Emphasis throughout the course will be on the often-overlooked role of indigenous people in creating colonial societies.
