EDCI 5730 - Learning and Cognition Credits: 3 The purpose of this course is to explore and critically analyze various learning theories from 1900 to present, including, but not limited to, behaviorism, constructivism, information processing, situated cognition, meaning learning, and cognitivism. Focus is on applying learning theories to impact K-12 student outcomes.
Prerequisite: graduate standing or permission of instructor.
