The UW Community College Leadership Certificate is an online, 15-credit program to help you advance into community college management and leadership roles.

Requirements

The Community College Leadership Certificate Program requires 15 credit hours to include the following three required courses:

HIED 5660 - Community College Credits: 3
HIED 5600 - Higher Education Finance Credits: 3
HIED 5650 - Law of Higher Education Credits: 3

Two Elective Courses Are Chosen From the Following:

HIED 5260 - Educational Issues Race, Class, and Gender Credits: 3
HIED 5630 - Advanced Organizational Leadership Credits: 3
HIED 5640 - Leadership Development Credits: 3
HIED 5670 - Community College Issues and Leadership Credits: 3
HIED 5680 - Issues in Higher Education Credits: 3
