The B.A. in Criminal Justice & Criminology is a social science major that examines the causes and impacts of crime in society. Graduates go on to careers in fields such as law enforcement, homeland security, probation and parole, and victim services.

Degree Requirements
This degree requires 120 credits, 42 of which are upper-division credits. University Studies Program
This degree requires that The University Studies Program 2015 requirements are met before graduation. Some of the courses required for this major fulfill USP requirements, but not all. Students should check their degree evaluations and consult with their assigned academic advisor to discuss their specific course plan. Foundation Courses
Students must complete all foundation courses with a grade of C or better. Criminal Justice Core
Students must complete any 4 courses with a grade of C or better. Supporting Courses
Students must complete one three credit hour course from the list below; or 1 additional course from Criminal Justice Core. Must be completed with a grade of C or better. Outside Major Requirements
Students are required to complete two semesters of any course outside your major offered by the Arts & Sciences College. In Addition
Upper division course work that was completed more than ten years prior to graduation will not meet major requirements. |
