The proposed Bachelor of Science degree in GIS&T will provide students with a strong education in a broad range of skills necessary for success in this growing field. This proposed degree will also require that students earn a mi¬nor in a second discipline. Evidence suggests that students with GIST skills combined with knowledge of another field enjoy increased job opportunities.
