Mathematics Minor

The minor in mathematics focuses on
fundamental aspects of mathematics that are
essential for further study in mathematics and
are also useful in a variety of other disciplines.
Students minoring in mathematics may customize
the minor by choosing the appropriate
transition course and upper-division electives
to match their needs.

Lower Division Core Courses
Upper Division
Two of the math electives may be chosen from a list of approved courses that have significant math content, upon approval by the student’s advisor. More details about such courses are available on the math department’s web site, www.uwyo.edu/mathstats/.
Only grades of C or better will be accepted for the minor.
