About

The Ranch Management and Agricultural Leadership (RMAL) Program teaches legacy skills, but goes further, focusing on comprehensive leadership development that spans the interconnected range of skills in production, technology, civics, and collaboration. The unparalleled access to industry experts positions our graduates to assume leadership roles in their communities as the bold problem-solvers the modern ag industry demands.

Special Requirements and Information

The RMAL program sponsors a First-Year Interest Group (FIG) in the residence hall. First year RMAL majors are required to live in the “Western Heritage: Ranch Management & Leadership” FIG.

If you value learning across different disciplines, hands-on experience, and being involved in your community, RMAL gives you a way to connect what you know with real-world action. Whether you want to shape policy, manage land, or lead projects that link agriculture and sustainability, this program can help you make a real difference.
