PSYC 4450  - Eating Disorders: Biological, Psychological, and Social Influences

Eating disorders are complex illnesses occurring at the intersection of biological, social, and psychological processes and have high mortality rates. We will learn about eating disorders, their causes and treatment, and how they’re stigmatized and misunderstood, often preventing them from being taken seriously.

Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in PSYC 1000  , PSYC 2000 ,and PSYC 2340 . Junior or senior standing.
