Language on the move investigates human mobilities through the lens of language. Taking larger historical and geographical perspectives, this course engages with historical linguistics, language contact, and language mapping to explore questions of migration and culture contact in human history.

Prerequisite: ANTH 2000 and three additional credits in Anthropology
