PSYC 3330 - Psychology of Trauma Credits: 3 Max Credit: 3
This course examines the theory, research, and practice of psychology pertaining to psychological trauma and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Topics covered include the etiology of PTSD, prevalence and risk factors for traumatic stress, neurobiology of trauma reactions, and an overview of the assessment and treatment of trauma-related disorders.
Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in PSYC 1000 AND PSYC 2340
