THDN 3170 - Advanced Speech and Dialects

Advanced Speech and Dialects will build upon voice and speech skills to amplify a speaking voice for the stage without amplification of tension. Students will use their skills of IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) and Aural Acquisition to score text and apply signature sound changes into various dialects.

Prerequisite: THDN 2170 or THEA 2170
