SPAN 4095 - Advanced Translation

The course will examine the field of translation and the arduous task of the translator. Students will translate from English to Spanish and, less frequently, from Spanish to English; they will examine the grammatical, lexical and cultural difficulties faced by the translator; and, they will explain the translation processes.
