A study of the scope, activities, and responsibilities of professional auditors. Topics include assurance services by public accountants and professional judgment in the process of accessing risks, planning and performance audit procedures, and reporting on financial fairness.

Prerequisite: ACCT 3430 with a grade of C or better; ACCT 3610 with a grade of C or better (or concurrent enrollment); advanced business standing.
