NURS 4736 - Nursing Care of Vulnerable Populations Practicum Credits: 2 Applies past learning and cultivates evidence-based nursing practice for vulnerable populations in acute/ community settings. Focuses on the vulnerability associated with mental health, psychiatric illnesses. Core public health functions of community assessment, essential health services, disaster preparedness, health policy development/ global health care are also emphasized to implement population-based nursing interventions.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of NURS 3770 and NURS 3771 ; concurrent enrollment in NURS 4710 and NURS 4735 .
