The University of Wyoming offers Exploratory Studies for students that have not decided upon a major as of yet. Students explore academic areas that might lead to selecting a major. Instead of assigning the catch-all designation “undeclared major” or “undecided,” UW academic programs have six “big picture” categories or tracks from which initally choose:

• Communications, Media and the Arts Track
• Math, Data Science and Business Track
• Government, Public Policy and Justice Track
• Human Service, Wellness and Social Sciences Track
• Science and the Environment Track
• Culture, Society and Global Studies
